The answer is “probably soon,” according to Dr. Mike Guereka, co-founder of the Diabetes Center at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia University Medical Center.
The test was developed and funded by the American Diabetes Association.
Guereta is the first diabetic to get it.
He’s the co-chair of the new National Diabetes Monitoring and Education Program, which is led by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Institutes of Health.
Guesera said it is important to have a reliable way to measure how ketones are being stored and transported.
“This is an important thing because we know that people with diabetes are getting very high blood sugar,” Guerea said.
“We’re starting to understand that people are really struggling to get their blood sugar down.
It’s a great thing to do, but it’s also a huge opportunity for us.”
Guereeta said the test is an extension of a program called the Ketogenic Diet.
It has helped some diabetic patients achieve and maintain their ideal blood sugar level.
The diet focuses on a diet high in fat, protein and healthy fats and foods, such as avocado, olive oil and coconut oil.
It also helps people maintain weight and control blood sugar.
Guerea, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in the late 1990s, says the Keto Meter Test can help with the daily tasks of managing the diabetes.
It is a new tool that uses a combination of sensors to measure the glucose levels of a person.
The meter also measures ketones in urine, which are the body’s natural energy stores.
Guesera, who lives in New York City, said he can use the Meter Test to monitor when he is able to have his insulin shots.
He said he hopes to have it on the market as soon as the 2020 Olympics are over.
He plans to wear it around his neck while he works out.
