The NBA has a rule in place that limits teams to two players per team.
The league, however, is not in compliance with the rule and some teams have had multiple players on their rosters.
According to a new report from Fox Sports, there are only two players on this year’s All-Star team.
The league’s website states that “two All-Stars is a minimum” and that players must have one season of experience under their belt.
The rule is meant to encourage younger players to play and for coaches to make adjustments to their rosters in order to limit injury and the potential for an overabundance of talent.
The NBA said that they would look into the matter and if there are further concerns they will “continue to monitor and address those concerns.”
The league is set to have a new All-Time Team presentation on Wednesday night at 8 p.m. ET.
